Times can be very tough for all of us. You are not alone. As believers in Christ Jesus and Ministers at Christ Chapel of Long Beach, we feel it is very important to provide encouragement through scripture and positive words.

Who Are We, Community Service
Our Mission
To provide goods, services, and education to people in need, and inspire all to community service.
Our Vision
That all people will one day have the skills and education to live a full, independent life, and lead their own mission to serve those in need.
Goods & Giving
We provide groceries, snacks, clothing, and toiletries to assist struggling individuals and families to help make ends meet. And, through our partnership with Christ Chapel Long Beach, we can now provide a hot meal too.
We also provide opportunities for all to volunteer at community events. We focus on teaching how to share the talents we have with others, and work together as a team servicing those who are struggling.
With our giving, we also provide service connections to help individuals and families help themselves. It is about growth toward independence not enabling.
How We Educate
Mentoring is a big part of how we educate. Working side-by-side with a mentor encourages sharing of skills and experience and growth at your own pace. Sign up to volunteer at a community event and meet and work with our mentors.
Scholarship for Graduating High School Seniors
We award hard work and leadership growth. If you are a senior who has regularly volunteered with us you can apply for our community service scholarship. We encourage you to apply if you meet the following criteria:
- GPA of 3.6 or greater
- Graduating in the current school year
- Have Volunteered consistently with I-Own-It.Today for 2 years or more
- Have exhibited leadership qualities at volunteer events such as but not limited to: managing a station, jumping in to help, teaching others, or helping to assist clients
